Transfer of old police station to MNH ongoing

by isleofman.com 22nd February 2019

Work is taking place to conclude the legal transfer of the old police station in Castletown.

Manx National Heritage is in the process of taking it over after selling one of its properties in Kingswood Grove.

The issue was raised in Tynwald this week.

Enterprise Minister Laurence Skelly confirmed there were currently no plans in place for its ‘long term use’ and says MNH will consult in due course.

He also revealed it could be used as a pop up art display as part of the Isle of Man Arts Festival in the short term.
