Unemployment figures rise

Unemployment on the Isle of Man has increased.

There were 368 people out of work at the end of January.

It means the Island has an unemployment rate of 0.9 per cent.

Of those out of work 101 were men.

During January 910 vacancies were notified to the Job Centre – 75 per cent were full time positions.
