Police make arrest in arson investigation

by isleofman.com 31st January 2019

Police say they've made an arrest following a number of fires which were started deliberately in Douglas this week.

Yesterday they appealed for the public's help to 'urgently' find the person responsible for starting two fires.

Officers said homes on Mona Street were deliberately targeted overnight between January 29th and 30th.

Damage was caused to the doors at the premises.

In a post on Facebook the Isle of Man Constabulary says it won't be making further comment at this time.
