Fishing boat rescued near Port St Mary

A fishing boat had to be rescued on Wednesday after suffering steering problems.

Port St Mary Lifeboat was launched at 5.55pm after being paged by Belfast Coastguard.

Volunteers found the 14-metre vessel 10 miles south-east of Port St Mary.

The boat was safely towed back to the port just before 9pm.
