A bus which caught fire in Douglas on Friday will be examined to try and establish the cause of the blaze.

The single decker bus went up in flames just after 10am whilst it was on Loch Promenade.

The driver escorted the passengers off the vehicle after noticing smoke coming from the rear.

Firefighters extinguished the fire, which was confined to the engine compartment, and were on scene for around 30 minutes.
