Hundreds brave cold water for New Year's Day dips

by isleofman.com 3rd January 2019

More than 200 ‘dippers’ braved the cold waters of Douglas to raise money for two Island charities.

The annual New Year’s Day event supported Breast Care Now and FIM Capital Beach Buddies.

The two charities say they’ll be jointly hosting a number of other events during 2019.

The dip was one of a number which took place around the Island helping to raise funds for charitable causes.
