New Year Honours for three Island residents

Three people on the Isle of Man have been awarded accolades in the New Year Honours List.

David Doyle, who retired from the Island's judicial system this summer, has been made a CBE for his services to Manx Law.

Founder of SCS Ltd Stewart Clague has been made an MBE for his outstanding contribution to the Island and the Lonan and Laxey Community.

Air traffic controller Martin Benson has been awarded the British Empire Medal for his outstanding and continuing public service.

He’s been a pivotal part of the Rushen Emergency Ambulance Service for 40 years and in the First Responders scheme which he runs in parallel.
