Significant damage forces closure of The Bowl

by isleofman.com 20th December 2018

Significant damage to the seating at The Bowl has forced the sporting venue to close.

It’s as a result of the poor weather which has hit the Island over the last few days.

Structural damage has damaged the columns which support the canopy of the spectator seating section within the football stadium.

Engineers will carry out safety work – it’s likely to be the New Year before it reopens.

The NSC will contact all hirers who had scheduled bookings – lost bookings will be credited.
