Port St Mary lifeboat was launched last night (Thurs) to go to the aid of a yacht.
The call out came at 8.30pm after the 35 foot vessel "Serena" experienced difficulties with its mast whilst seven and a half miles south of Port St Mary.
The Gough Ritchie 2 took the vessel in tow and brought her safely into harbour just before 11pm.
The single crew member on-board was unharmed.
