by isleofman.com 14th August 2014

A team from Moore Stephens took part in the Ramsey half marathon on 10 August 2014, raising money for local charity Wish Upon a Dream. Celeste Green, Jonathan Dixon, Alex Graham, Gemma Rodger and Rob Drummond completed the run in 1 hour 50 minutes.

To encourage staff to live healthily and exercise regularly, throughout 2014 Moore Stephens has been working on a health and well being initiative for staff across the company.

“It’s great that our staff want to take part in local events such as the Ramsey half marathon. Our health and well-being initiative was intended to encourage staff to be more active and it’s bearing fruit” said Clive Dixon, managing partner in Moore Stephens. “It’s a double benefit that in the process they raised ?1,000 for Wish Upon a Dream – well done!”

Wish Upon a Dream is an Isle of Man charity working closely with sick and terminally ill children. The charity’s primary role is to grant wishes to children, which they are able to do through receiving of donations.
