PwC Isle of Man management team goes from strength to strength

PwC Isle of Man is delighted to announce the latest promotions due to continued growth at the firm.

Paul Jones and Nichola Christison have been appointed as Audit Directors in the assurance department.  Paul Jones joined the firm in 1996 and specializes in financial services with a particular focus on the insurance industry, including helping clients deal with accounting and regulatory change. Paul leads our IT systems/controls assurance practice and also provides accounting related advice to the firm's clients and audit teams.

Nichola Christison joined the firm in 1997 and has a portfolio of local, UK and international clients. She has a wide range of experience in the offshore financial services sector with a particular focus on alternative investment clients, banking and fiduciary services. Nichola has assisted clients with group restructuring, business combinations and has advised clients on the migration from UK GAAP to IFRS.

James Gumbley has been promoted to Senior Manager in the assurance department.  

James specialises in both regulatory and financial reporting.  Since joining PwC from another practice in 2010, James has brought extensive experience of a variety of industries, currently focussing on audit clients in the insurance, fiduciary services, real estate and e-commerce sectors, including a number of listed companies.  

Ben Holloway has been promoted to Senior Manager in the tax department.   Ben joined the firm in 2009 and specialises in the IoM and UK taxation of Private Clients and their structures. Ben also has significant experience of managing the taxation of groups of companies with international tax issues in a range of jurisdictions.

Richard Corke has been promoted to Manager in the advisory department.  Richard joined the firm in 2007 and has gained experience working with audit clients in a wide variety of industries.  He joined the firm's growing advisory department in 2012, has worked on corporate recovery and forensic projects and is looking forward to helping organisations respond to future change and challenges.

In addition there are two promotions within the Senior Associate band, Mark Lilleyman is promoted to Audit Senior Associate 3 and Holly MacPherson-Pope is promoted to Audit Senior Associate 2.  Mark joined the firm in September 2008 as part of the graduate recruitment programme and Holly joined a year later in the 2009 intake.
