Onchan and much of Upper Douglas was hit by a power cut this afternoon ( Sunday).
It affected a wide swath of Onchan and Upper Douglas.
Staff were brought in by the Authority to man the switchboard and field enquiries.
Power was restored just after 2-30pm.
