by isleofman.com 27th December 2013
This evening's 7.45pm Isle of Man Steam Packet sailing to Heysham will go ahead after a delay of just over an hour.
The Ben-my-Chree will depart Douglas at 9pm to allow both the winds and seas to ease after today's prolonged storm.
The return will leave Heysham at 3am.
It's been a grim day at Ronaldsway Airport for air passengers with nearly all flights being either cancelled, diverted or severely delayed.
However, by late afternoon, things were starting to return to something like normality with planes beginning to take-off and land once again.
