MEA linesmen on call to restore supplies

The Manx Electricity Authority is urging householders to keep in touch via social media if they lose power supplies.
Linesmen are out all over the Island dealing with a series of incidents where trees and branches have fallen on lines.
Vulnerable customers with acute needs - those on the 'power for life' list - will be treated as a priority if their supplies are hit.
The MEA's spokeswoman Alison Cottier says call-outs across the Island so far have been sporadic and the numbers affected are not large at this stage:
