Cruising or racing the island has something for every enthusiast.
We love promoting local talent and when we were sent a poster advising a gig by a group named The Shenanigans Banned we had to find out more.
As well as the famous "Laxey Wheel" the village also hosts the Laxey sailing club in the shallow draft Laxey Harbour. Sporting a licenced clubhouse with an open fire that is open to members and their guests it is a great spot to stop off after visiting some of the local attractions.
